Can't You See?

A childhood. What does it do? How can it shape someone? Are you suddenly an adult when you have your first kiss? When that innocence is tossed away as you realize that life is going to be cruel?
The formative years. The days when the sun beat down on our naked backs and we didn't care if our shirts would stick to our sweaty skin. All that mattered was that one last game of tag was played, that last addition to the sand castle was done.
In those days we had it all, even the dream of one day being able to fly was always on our mind.

“Amusement park rides are vehicles for enacting fantasies for both children and adults alike. They simulate flight, daring sea adventures, and encounters with other worldly creatures. From the moment we strap ourselves into our seats, we surrender ourselves to these giant machines and the physical release they provide. The experience combines elation with fear; thrills with chills.”

If there was one thing I miss, its the freedom.
